What kind of problems can you help with?

Practical replacement parts, brackets, mounts, adapters, organizers, prototypes, and other small custom-fit solutions are a good place to start. We review each idea for fit with our current CAD and FDM-printing capabilities.

Do I need a CAD file?

No. Photos, a sketch, measurements, the original part, or a plain-language description are all useful starting points. We can create the CAD model with you.

What materials do you use?

We currently print primarily in PLA and evaluate whether it suits each project. Other materials may be considered as our real project experience grows.

How long does it take?

Timing depends on design complexity, print time, iteration, and the current queue. We will share a practical estimate before any paid work begins.

How much does it cost?

Straightforward print-ready PLA jobs have a $20 minimum per order. Simple custom design-and-print projects start at $65. Prices are in USD, with applicable taxes and shipping additional. Design complexity, size, quantity, and any agreed fit checks affect the total. We confirm the scope, deliverables, and price in a written quote before paid work begins.

Is the initial quote free?

Yes. Ordinary initial discussions and quotes are free, with no obligation to proceed. If evaluating your idea requires meaningful design, measurement, or prototyping work, we identify that as paid work and agree it with you before starting.

Can you make just one part?

Yes. One-off parts and small projects are welcome. You do not need a production run or a finished CAD file to start a conversation.

Can I get the CAD file too?

A printed part, an agreed CAD export, or both can be quoted. Buying a printed part does not automatically include a digital model. Native or editable source files are not included unless specifically agreed, so tell us what files and uses you need when we scope the project.

When do I pay?

Custom CAD and design projects ordinarily require a 50% advance after you accept the written quote. Small, simple print-only jobs may be payable at completion. The quote confirms payment details, with the remaining balance normally due before pickup, shipment, or release of final files.

Do you ship, or can I collect my part?

Local pickup in King George, Virginia, may be available by arrangement. Domestic shipping is considered case by case, with shipping costs stated separately in the quote. International shipping is not currently offered. Please arrange pickup before visiting.

What if the part does not fit?

Tell us what is wrong so we can compare it with the agreed requirements. If we made a design or printing error, we work to correct, remake, or replace the affected deliverable without extra charge. Changes to your requirements or incorrect supplied measurements may need a new quote. Agreed test pieces can help resolve uncertain fits before final printing.

What projects are not a fit?

We do not knowingly take safety-critical, life-support, weapon, mains-voltage safety, pressure-containing, certified protective, or other projects whose failure could cause serious harm. We may also decline work when the material, process, tolerance, or validation needs exceed our current capabilities.
