About Useful Geometry

A small shop.
A practical outlook.

Useful Geometry is a small, independent design-and-3D-printing shop in King George, Virginia. We help people turn everyday problems into practical parts.

The work starts with something specific: a part that broke, a connection that doesn’t fit, or a tool you wish you had. We use CAD to work out the shape and 3D printing to make it tangible, with the use, material, and scope considered together.

From the workbench

Test. Measure. Learn.

Small prints help check dimensions, fit, and the way an idea behaves before the next step.

How we work

Practical by design.

01

Start with the problem

Tell us what the part needs to do. Photos, rough measurements, and a plain-language description can get the conversation started.

02

Talk plainly

Clear questions, a quote before paid work, and straightforward updates. You don’t need to know the technical terms.

03

Know the limits

We consider the material and intended use before taking on a job. When a project isn’t a fit for the shop, we’ll say so.

One problem at a time.

Let’s make something useful.
